This place was really a nice spot for a quick lunch. There is a playground across the street that our 9yo loved. We let her get some energy out then popped in for bite.
Our daughter ordered the kids macaroni and cheese and really enjoyed it. This is not your typical American half a box of craft in a bowl. This was quality macaroni and cheese made with a mixture of real cheese.
My wife had the fish stick sandwich and chips and really enjoyed it. It was basically fish and chips just the fried white fish was on a nice ciabatta bread.
The waitress was a true please and had a great attitude. She checked on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed.
The restaurant could easily be quiet and intimate on the insode downstairs or much more casual at the bar or outside. Wouldn't hesitate to send a friend here and if I wasn't trying to eat all over I would go here again. -

The three course Sunday dinner was very nice. The grilled halloumi was delicious. The beef roast and potatoes were cooked perfectly. The sticky toffee pudding was decadent. The servers were all friendly, courteous, and efficient. I'd come back next Sunday if it wasn't a 14 hour trip.

I don't know what has changed since the last review, but the Victoria Pub and Kitchen offered up great food, super service, and delightfully spotless dining areas.
Granted our order wasn't that difficult - but I have seen other pubs stumble on even the lowly pub burger and fries. Not so the VP&K - our food was perfect and came after a short wait.
Finally let me commend the staff. They were cheerful, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure our dining experience was top notch. On a night where they had a party of 20+ we never would have known it. Our server seemed only concerned with our party.
If you find yourself in Bath anywhere near Victoria Park, give them a try. They won't disappoint. -

The worst place I have ever been!!! This has the worst rudest staff I have ever encountered shouting swearing and just being all round rude. The beer is expensive and the food as crap as the staff. This place looks amazing from the outside and out but the staffs shoddiness and rudeness makes it an awful experience!!!!

Just don't come here. We waited an hour and a half for food. Although the food was good I was so hungry by the time it arrived I would have eaten anything. Staff very pleasant but no food is worth a wait this long. Avoid it at all costs if you're hungry.
